William Fredrick Johnson

William “Fred” Johnson passed Tuesday, March 21, 2017 after a brief illness. A graduate of The Ohio State University, where he was inducted into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; He was a career employee for 25 years with the State of Ohio; after retirement from the state, he gained employment with the City of Columbus, where he served until his death. He was a longtime member of St. Philip Episcopal Church. Predeceased by his sister, Lucile P. Roan, he leaves to cherish his memory his devoted niece, Kay S. Roan; nephew, Gary R. Roan; great nephew, Blake E. Roan, of Dayton, OH; and a host of other relatives.
