William H. Bevins, born on December 19, 1951, passed away on April 19th 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories cherished by those who knew him.
He found great joy in traveling the roads of Ohio, often taking drives simply to take in the scenery and appreciate the journey. Those moments of sightseeing brought him a sense of peace and happiness that stayed with him throughout his life.
A man of sharp intellect, he had a strong understanding of finances and was known for his practical thinking and sound advice. He carried himself with quiet confidence and was someone others could depend on.
In his free time, he enjoyed classic movies and television shows, finding comfort and entertainment in the timeless stories they told. He was also a passionate sports enthusiast who followed games closely and took pride in cheering on his favorite teams.
He is survived by his son, William J. Bevins, and his wife, Sharon Bevins. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of the open road, and the simple joys that meant so much to him.
A memorial will be held at Diehl-Whittaker on Monday, May 4th beginning at 10am, with the funeral service beginning at Noon.
Friends will be received for Visitation at Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service at 1370 East Main Street Columbus, Ohio 43205 on Monday, May 4th, 2026 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, followed immediately by Funeral Services.
Burial will process to Green Lawn Cemetery.
