Wallace "Bill" Vale, Jr.

Wallace “Bill” Vale Jr. was born to Rosella “Nip” Ransom and Wallace Vale Sr. on July 12 1949 in Quitman Mississippi. Bill spent his childhood life with both parents and siblings in Laurel Mississippi where he attended RH Watkins High School. He later moved to Columbus OH where he created a solid foundation and extended his family.

Bill was a loving, devoted, solid man who worked extremely hard to provide for his family. He worked at Budweiser for many years and switched careers working in asphalt and managed a bar called Jeff’s Place in Columbus OH. He was a loving father figure to everyone around him and gained many children. He always taught many lessons to his kids and others, not only through his words but by his loving example. Bill was the life of the party, he’s well known for throwing neighborhood cookouts where everyone was invited, he knew no stranger.

Bill answered the Lord’s call to glory on June 25th 2023. He’s preceded in death by Rosella Ransom, Wallace Vale Sr., Ida Bell Huge, Mamie Lee Vale, Eunice Blakney, Christine Jones, Mary Rodgers, Linda White, Mary Huge, Jimmie Ransom, John “Eddy”, Terry, Jerry and Lloyd Henry Vale,  Phillip Hearn, Edward “JJ” Ransom, Fred Thompson, Darnell Dunlap, Urvine White Jr., Tasha Ransom and Bobbie Scott.

Bill leaves to cherish his memory, his loving Wife Linda Huge of Columbus OH. Brothers, Randy (Susan) Ransom of Laurel MS, Dwayne Ransom, Anthony and Gregory McDonald of Columbus OH. Sisters, Easter McCrae, Katherine and Marva (Jesse) Ransom of Laurel MS. Deborah Thompson, Denise Mcdonald, Lisa and Melissa Smith of Columbus OH. Daughters, Yolanda (Robert) Vale, Belinda (Eric) Harris, Ida (Dominique) Hill, Melissa Morrow and Jessica (Reco) Morrow, of Columbus OH. Yolanda (Choo) Loftin of Laurel Ms. Sons, Michael Castlin, Vincent Morrow, James “Fatty” Dunlap, and Michael Kasler of Columbus OH. Grandchildren Jaquel, Kayshawn, Ja’Ciaun, Kennedy, Keniyah, Dayanesty, Dameyah, Robert Jr, Royalty, R’ReAuna, Reign, Alexis, Markel, Wanya, Alexceana, Diamyne, Iesha, Taliyah, Dominique Jr, Curtis Jr, Johndale, Vincent Jr, Vince’Ceon, Jaimere, Josiah, Jasmine, Shaquanda “Quanna”, Audrieona, Audreosa, and Anton, . 14 Great Grandchildren, Bonus children, Henry (Yessheca) Vale, Waltia Stewart, Syreeta Morrow and Talia Thompson. Special Friend, Bernestine Dunlap, Calvin McDonald, Mitchell Crosby, Johnnie Lee Porter, Larvin Brown, Michael Calhoun, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

To know Bill is to love him and he will be sadly missed in our hearts.
