Vincent Ziglar

Vincent Barnard Ziglar, age 64, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at his home in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

Vincent was born December 17, 1960, in Columbus to J. Odell and E. Lucerne Ziglar. The youngest of four children, he attended East High School.

He loved drag racing, watching football---especially his favorite Dallas Cowboys---and had a gift for building computers and gaming devices.

Vince, as he was best known in the workplace, was a forklift operator for most of his career. He worked at White Castle corporate headquarters, Siemens, and Kenco Logistics for more than 15 years. An excellent forklift driver, Vincent received accolades for his speed and maneuvering skills, and often helped train new hires. As a member of Kenco’s Tiger Team, he also traveled throughout the U.S. to assist other logistic facilities.

A favorite past time of Vincent was traveling by car across the country. So, along with Alicia Spencer, his life partner of more than 45 years, the couple traveled to cities and vacation spots all around the U.S.

Vincent is survived by his life partner Alicia Spencer, children: Princess Ziglar, Vincent Jwon Ziglar (Karlene), Viane Ziglar, and Jonathan Brown; grandchildren Ania Ziglar, Sheora Watkins, Tiara Watkins, Talia Watkins, Xavier Ziglar, Kanaya Glasgow, Elexcea Ziglar, Malik Ziglar, and Isaiah Ziglar; sister Ferne Ziglar, four great- grandchildren, a niece and nephew, and numerous cousins.

His parents and brothers B. Barrett Ziglar and Kenneth Ziglar preceded Vincent in death.

Family and friends will miss Vincent for his laughter. His Kenco co-workers and customers will also miss his habit of wearing matching outfits and hats in the workplace----- a special custom that made him one of a kind.

A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Diehl Whittaker Funeral Services, 1370 East Main Street, Columbus, Ohio. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the service will follow at 12:00 noon.
