Obituary

Vincent Jwon Ziglar, age 42, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at his home in Columbus, Ohio.

Vincent was born February 6, 1984, in Columbus at the Ohio State University Hospital to Vincent B. Ziglar and Alicia Spencer. He graduated from Independence High School and completed a three-year apprenticeship in masonry.

Jwon, as he was best known by family, worked as a bricklayer on construction projects throughout Ohio for much of his career. He also held jobs at KinderCare as a cook.

He had a passion for fitness, providing training and coaching to those desiring to lose weight, develop a workout regime, and foster a healthy mindset. But clearly his greatest accomplishment was as a bodybuilder and competitor. He participated in competitions hosted by the National Physique Committee (NPC), the premier amateur physique organization in the world. In 2015, Jwon won the NPC Ohio State Championship in the Men’s Bodybuilding Super Heavyweight category. The following year he won the NPC Mike Francois Classic.

Jwon is survived by his wife Karlene Ziglar, children: Xavier Ziglar, Elexcea Ziglar, Malik Ziglar, and Isaiah Ziglar; Mother Alicia Spencer; siblings: Princess, Ziglar, Viane Ziglar and Jonathan Brown, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends will miss Jwon’s tender heart and irresistible smile.
