Vera Mae Israel

Vera Mae Israel sunrise July 7, 1958,    Sunset November 5, 2021. Loving and caring mother of 4, grandmother of 11, and mother-n-law. Graduate of South High school. A nurses aid for 17 years. Vera loved traveling especially going home to Georgia to visit.

Bingo and the casinos were her favorite pass time. Sitting by a bonfire listening to Anita Baker and singing Heather Handley in my mind. Vera helped raised other children in some way shape or form, this is just the way Vera was.  Her favorite saying: "Get the Getter before the Getter Get you" Vera is presided in death by her mother Eula Mae Israel, Father Robert Israel, sister Rose Issacs, Robert Israel, son Josh Israel and daughter Consuela Israel. Vera leaves behind to treasure her memories her husband Jack Sloan, daughter  Jackie Israel (Gregory Anderson Jr.) her son Cornelius Israel her grandchildren Daquan Israel, De’Ounta, Da’Wunta, Ju’Rative, Ju’Suela Busby, TayRika, Anlah Israel, Dominique Robinson, Damar, Alniva, Davon Isreal. Her brother Arthur Lee ( Brenda) Israel, Sister Lorine(Issac) Baker, Loveland Isreal. Sister-in-law Jill Baker, Judy(Steve) Anderson, Mamie Garland, and her boyfriend Jay Griffin
