Obituary

Tyrone Paul Will Patrick, Jr (T.J.) was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 3, 1982. He was the only son of his very
proud parents, Shirley and Tyrone, Sr. both native New Yorkers. After their marriage, the family relocated to
Northern Ohio (Toledo). Time would soon allow a new chapter for both T.J. and Shirley. Shirley and T.J. moved to
Central Ohio (Columbus) after Shirley’s marriage to Robert Gray (1994). T.J. graduated from Olentangy High School
in 2002. He was well liked by most and easily established lifelong friendships. He was adopted into the wonderful
Johnson family and very present at their home and family events. There was a time when T.J. could have easily
been mistakenly, called “Tyrone Johnson.”

T.J. was wise in his own way, caring, compassionate, and would share what little he had with others. He had high
energy and aspirations and was a perpetual dreamer. After working several jobs in OH, T.J. relocated to Phoenix,
AZ in early 2018 for a fresh new start. He enjoyed the great out-doors and the Arizona climate, and decided to stay
in Arizona for a while.

As T.J. faced a relatively new life in Arizona, he never gave up on his efforts to face the many obstacles and
challenges that occurred. He held on tight to his humor, positivity and optimism. T.J., consistently displayed a quiet
tenacity, and consistently proved his resilience, while holding on to his empathy to those around him.
He was a good son and a good man, who unceasingly loved family, and he was a great friend to the many, many
people who crossed his path.

Finally, T.J. understood and believed in the power of prayer and salvation. Before God called him home, he was
granted an opportunity to meet the love of his young life, Melissa, a beautiful, God-fearing, God- loving joy to T.J.
It was such a joy to see the sparkle back in his eyes again, and the happy smiles on his face. Little did any of us
know, that T.J.’s earthly, life’s journey was coming to an end. God’s plan was to call him home on September 14,
2026. T.J., we love you, and we always will. You will never be forgotten and your spirit and the memory of you will
always live within. May you Rest in Glory.

T.J. leaves to cherish his memory:
