Thomas Matthew Simmons

Thomas M. Simmons, age 84, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Isabelle Ridgway Care Center. Thomas was born in Beaver, Ohio on April 9, 1928 to the late Anderson and Ocie Harris-Simmons. He worked in Columbus for over forty years as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his wife Marion T. Simmons, brothers and sisters, Mary Trent, John Simmons, Samuel Simmons, Joseph Simmons, Sara Palmore, and Hanna Simmons. He leaves to cherish his memory, five sons, Michael (Dianne) Rouse, Alan (Lena) Simmons, Barry Simmons, Timothy (Sharon) Simmons, and Jeffrey Simmons; one sister Hester (Douglas) Cosby; seven grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
