Thomas L. Garnes, age 92. Sunrise, May 2, 1922; sunset, September 5, 2014. Avid gardener and outdoorsman; retired Columbus City Schools employee. Predeceased by his mother, Minnie Scruggs (Nelson); brother, Mark; 4 aunts and 4 uncles. Survived by Aunt Mary; nephew, Mark, Jr.; great niece and nephew, Melissa and Mark, III; great-great niece and nephew, Kalista and Noah. Special thanks to Glendower Ave.; Gentiva Hospice; and the Scioto Community.
