Stephen Laverne Smith

Stephen Lavern Smith was born August 12, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio. He passed away September 30, 2019. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a graduate of Ohio State Barber College. Steve was the owner-operator of “His Image Barber Shop.” He loved football and basketball and was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis B. Smith and Myrtice Reeves Smith, and brother Marvin Smith. He is survived by his wife Frances; children, Zachary and Gabrielle; siblings, Phenon (Steven) Lowery and Louis Smith, I; special nephew Louis Smith, II; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
