Shirley Jean Moore

Pastor Shirley Jean Moore, age 69, was called home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ, on November 12, 2019. Pastor Moore was the assistant pastor for over 7 years and became the Head Pastor in 2004 of The New Covenant House of God Church for over 17 years. Pastor Shirley Moore also attended New Inspiration Church of God in Christ as a second church home. Pastor Moore was a force to be reckoned with when it came to the Lord. Pastor Shirley Moore was a fierce leader in her teaching of the Lord. She was not only a guide for herself to the lord but a guide for others in the community around her passing the word of the Lord. She was a graduate of Columbus Paraprofessional Institute of Technology. She also attended Columbus State Community College. She served on several community boards and was always willing to volunteer to help others in need. Pastor Shirley Moore continually put others before herself until the day she went home to be with the Lord. Pastor Shirley Moore's spiritual presence and life on this earth will never be forgotten by her family or church family. A scripture that Pastor Shirley Moore kept near was No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Isaiah 54:17 She is preceded in death by her parents R. C. Foster and Leola B Graham, her brother Arthur Foster, and her son Troy Foster. She leaves to cherish in her memory her daughter, Josette Frye; son Earnest Moore; granddaughter Markia Frye; grandsons Marshawn Frye and Trey Moore; and good friend's Sister Vicky Williams and Sister Iris Kelly and a host of relatives and friends.
