Shirlene Woodfork

Shirlene Woodfork was born September 30, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio.  She departed this life just before her 64th birthday.

Shirlene attended Columbus Public Schools.  Coming up, she was affectionately known as “Sheenie.”  She was a caring, loyal, and down to earth mother, sister, daughter, and friend.  Her laugh was infectious.  Shirlene’s strength was undeniable and allowed her to champion against an illness for almost 30 years.

Shirlene is preceded in death by her loving parents, Heiter “Woody” and Dorothy Nell Woodfork, brother Anthony “Tony” Woodfork, and son Leonard “D” Woodfork.

She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Eugene Woodfork and Drake Woodfork; sisters, Donna Shae Woodfork/Ward, Patricia Pearl Woodfork; brothers, Heiter Woodfork, Steven (Melissa) Woodfork, and Marcus (Audrey) Woodfork; grandchildren, Drake, Shyton, Bianca, Destiny, Talill, Tre’thaniel, and Nasir; special friend, Joe; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
