Shirl Lynn Vicarel

Shirl L. Vicarel passed from this earthly life, March 9, 2015. She specialized in laughter, joy and love. Her indomitable spirit ceased, suddenly, Monday morning. Shirl enjoyed music, was a marvelous dancer and quite the movie buff. The depth of love she felt for her friends, family and beloved husband was incomparable. Shirl enriched everyone with her wit and humor; her laugh was infectious. Apart from her six-year stint in the Army, Shirl was a lifelong resident of the Columbus area. She was predeceased by her mother, Shirley A. (Calloway), and brother, Phillip Calloway. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Kenneth J. Vicarel; father, Edwin D.M. Johnson; sisters, Edwina and Jennifer (Gerry); brothers, Mark, Paris, and James Calloway, and Todd Lucas; and several nieces and nephews, (especially Zari and Sydney who stole her heart).
