Sarah Marie Jefferson

SARAH M. JEFFERSON, age 87 was born in the Bedwell/Gallipolis, OH area.  She had no specific religious affiliation but she always maintained a deep love and belief in the Lord.  She retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Company, where she worked as an operator for over 20 years.  Her family was the most important thing to her, and she loved to be with them including her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, her nieces, and nephew.  She loved to talk and would start conversations with any and everybody.  She went home August 9, 2018 at Wexner Heritage Village under Zusman Hospice care.

She is preceded in death by parents, Samuel West and Carrie Newman West; daughter, Patricia Simmons; sisters, Anna West and Susan West Foster; brother Richard West.

She was greatly loved and will forever be missed by those she leaves behind to cherish her memory such as sons, Terry (Pam) Simmons and Ron Jefferson; daughter, Cheryl (Daniel) Jefferson-Helber.
