Samuel Mckinley Little

October 1, 1961 — June 28, 2020

Samuel McKinley Little affectionately known as “Sam”, was born on October 1, 1961 in Williamson, WV. In his early years, he relocated to Pikeville, KY. As a youth, Sam played softball and football at the park. Sam attended North High and Linden-McKinsley. He loved Nascar and going to races... Sam knew his cars! After 28 years of employment, Sam retired from Wonderbread Bakery. Sam departed this life on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at The Woodlands of Columbus Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Betty Little; sister, Renee Tomblin; and Aunt Marg. He is survived by his children, Samuel A. Little, Nick (Angel) Little, and Tabbitha; brother, Mike (Bonita) Little; ten grandchildren; and many loved and cherished cousins.

Beginning at 1:00 pm, doors will open for a walk-through viewing with staggered admission of up to 10 people at a time. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Samuel's memorial celebration wall to send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
