Mr. Samuel Cherry, age 84, passed away on April 19, 2022. Samuel was born in Columbus, OH on October 29, 1937 to Samuel Cherry, Sr. and Rose Cherry.
Sam was very athletic and excelled in all sports. He enjoyed talking on the phone with friends about sports. Sam served his country in the United States Air Force. He was formally employed by Boeing Aircraft and Children's Hospital.
He was preceded in death by Samuel Cherry, Sr. (Father), Rose Cherry (Mother).
He is survived by his sons, Samuel Cherry Sr. (Dorothea) and Tyrone Cherry Sr.; sister, Lucille Burke; and brother, Bernard Cherry; grandchildren, Candace Booker (Russ), Tiffany Cherry, Samuel Cherry Jr., Tyrone Cherry Jr., and Tyreese Cherry
The family wants to thank everyone for all their well wishes. Per Sam's request, there will be a private service.
