Roshawn Gartrell Sr

Roshawn “Ro” Eugene Gartrell Sr., 34, born in Columbus, Ohio on June 11, 1976, passed away on July 13, 2010. Ro was a loving son, brother and father. He graduated from Walnut Ridge High School. Preceded in death by his father, Eugene Taylor. Survived by mother, Brenda Rivers; stepfather, Eddie Rivers; children, Zeelayah, Roche’, Roshaunti, Bronze, Roshawn Jr., and Roy; sisters, Monica Gartrell, Elizabeth Taylor, Rita (Von) Steverson, Loretta Taylor, Theresa Taylor and Mary Jean Davis; one brother, Alan E. Taylor; special nephew, Rodirick Dye; special uncles, Ricardo Gartrell, MonteCarlo Gartrell and Earl McClendon as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services 2pm on Monday, July 19, 2010 in the chapel of Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service, 720 E. Long Street where the family will receive friends from 1pm until the start of the service.
