Robert Anthony Jones

Robert Anthony Jones, age 59, was born on April 5, 1959.  He was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio where he proudly graduated from Eastmoor High School.

He loved and enjoyed being around people and he always kept everyone laughing. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and was known both as a master barbecue chef and card player.

Robert loved his work which was in the health care transportation field and was a caring, thoughtful and reliable helper to those patrons who depended on his service. He will always be loved and greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, John D Jones, Sr. and his grandmother, Mary M. Jones. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Carrie B. Jones; brothers John D. El-Amin (Jones), Ronald J. Jones and Elisha L. Jones;  five  children: Nicole, Danette, Monica, Robert, Jr. and Jasmine, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild, his partner Barbara Ann Jessie and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
