Raymond W. Dodson born September 28, 1950 passed away at home at the age of 75. He was a devoted son to his father Robert W. Dodson and his mother Ms. Edith E. William, he also loved his granny Ms. Daisy Dodson.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jenetta (Dodson) Wilder, Sandra R. (Dodson) Dukes, Santran R. Dodson, and Raynard W. Dodson. Raymond leaves behind to cherish his memory his siblings, Sammuel M. Dodson (Vickie), Ricardio Dodson, Robert W. Dodson Jr., Daine (Doson) Bailey, Toni Dodson, Richesette Dodson. He also leaves behind a loving family , his wife of forty years Mrs. Carolyn M. Hayes-Dodson. His children Daryle L. Green, David G. Hayes, Bruce L. Chapman, Chaz A Hayes, Lakeycha M. Hayes-Thompson (John), Mary L. T. Hayes-Harris (Shawn) Doris M. Hayes, Carla Chapman. Pawpaw helpers: Tarik W. Hayes, Iyana T.E Hayes, Xahir J. Hayes, Xavion J. Hayes. Special love to all 21 grandkids and 7 great-grandkids.

Raymond was a proud musician. He loved to fish and play C.B Radio. He played with the Ohio Player, friends with Ronnie Diamond and Norman Whiteside of the group we. As for the church band was New Jerusalem C.O.G.I.C where he played drums and guitar under Pastor and first lady Abbington’s Agape Full Baptist Church where he played keyboard and drums.

Faith Fellowship Ministries he played guitar with Pastor D.S Edwards. Raymond also loved fishing with his friends and family members. He loved to be on the C.B radio, his handle was 195 (LOL)

He will be deeply missed by all who loved him

Friends will be received for Visitation at Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service at 1370 East Main Street, Columbus, Ohio 43205 on Friday, May 29th, 2026 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, followed immediately by Funeral Services.
