Ray Anthony Parker

Ray Anthony Parker was born May 1, 1958 in Osceola, Arkansas. He was the youngest of five sons born to the late Odis and Annie Mae Parker. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mount Hermon Missionary Baptist Church

At an early age the family moved to Columbus Ohio. Ray attended Kent Street Elementary, Roosevelt Junior High and graduated from South High School. In 1976, He enlisted in the U.S Army and served for 12 years. He was Honorably Discharged and began his employment with the Columbus Public School System as a custodian until his retirement.

Ray was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 1. 2022 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Odis and Annie Mae Parker. He leaves to Cherish his memories life partner Franz Johnson, sons Mar'lon Kent and Raymond Parker; brothers Odis (Sylvia) Parker Jr, Robert  Lewis (Mattie) Parker Sr, Charles Ervin (Vita)Parker Sr, Calvin Lee Parker ( friend Sharon) Sr. all of Columbus, Ohio;  Aunts Elnora Greene, Joyce (Mario) Jones, Louise (Larry) Wicks, Irma Jean Harris and Beatrice Wyrick; many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
