Patricia Ardella Wright

Born on September 3, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio, Patricia was 69 years old at the time of her passing. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many, first in her hometown of Columbus and later as a resident of Detroit.

Patricia was a devoted mother and grandmother, known for her warm spirit and generous nature. She was preceded in death by her mother, Goldie Wright; her brother, James Wright; her daughter, Georgetta Wright; and her grandson, Robert Wright. Patricia is survived by her son, Robert Anthony Wright, and his partner, Romeka England, as well as her loving sister, Anita Williams.

She leaves behind a cherished family, including grandchildren Chris Sutton, Christina Sutton, Robin Wright, and Georgetta Wright; great-grandchildren Gabriel Gustice Sutton, TaQuan Wright, Nyla Wright, Qwa'shawn Green, and Ya'Niyah Wright; and nieces Ardella Williams—who shared her namesake—Tiana Williams, Tracy Soward, and nephew Mark Soward.

In addition to her immediate family, Patricia fostered many friendships throughout her life and had a host of cousins, friends, and adopted grandchildren who will all miss her dearly. Patricia's legacy will live on in the love she shared and the memories created with those who were fortunate enough to know her.
