Ora Mae Hagood

Ora Mae Hagood, 91, of Whitman, West Virginia, crossed the threshold to Heaven on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Ora was born in West Virginia, June 3, 1921. She graduated, Summa Cum Laude, from Bluefield State College in Bluefield, West Virginia. Ora was married to the late James L. Hagood. A teacher in Logan, West Virginia for over 40 years, Mrs. Hagood, loved children and her community and her church, St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Kistler, West Virginia. Ora Mae Hagood was recognized for over 25 years of service as a Sorority Sister of the Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Epsilon Alpha Omega, chapter in Logan, West Virginia. Ora is survived by 28 nieces and nephews and more than 50 grand nieces and nephews.
