Oliver Tatom, Jr

Oliver Tatom Jr, was born to Oliver Sr.and Sarah Tatom in Columbus Ohio on February 26, 1942. At age 79, he went home to be with the  Lord on Tuesday,  February 2, 2021 Eastland nursing home in Columbus Ohio. A Veteran of the United States Army , Brother Oliver Tatom Jr.,was employed at Schlezinger Mill on 1041 Joyce Avenue until he retired. Brother Oliver was a faithful member of Solid Rock Bapist Church were  he study  the word of God and became a Pastor under the influence and teaching of Rev. Jerry Bradshaw. Uncle Bro ( as we called him) had a great love for people. He was a great friend and care giver to the family when ever the need came. Uncle Bro love to barbecue and make sweet potatoe crunch and eat oatmeal pies and milk. Preceded in death by his parents Oliver Sr. and Sarah  Tatom; Sister  Willie Ann Taylor. He leaves to cherish his memory his Sister's Betty  Howard (Arizona)Minnie Dennis (New Orleans),  Ollie Reed, Patricia Reed, Robin Reed ( all of Columbus,  Ohio), Brother  Michael Tatom, Auther Reed ( Columbus Ohio) , and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Eastland Nursing home and staff for 5yrs of care. The family would like to Thank everyone for all acts of kindness in our hour of need. Know if you need us we will come.
