Obbie Shepard Jr

Obbie Lee Shepard, Jr., age 21, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011. Born December 23, 1989 in Columbus, Ohio, Obbie was a Christian and a graduate of Indian River High School in Massillon, Ohio. Preceded in death by his loving grandmother Sarah Ann Pearson-Martin. He leaves to cherish his memory, mother Phyllis Lacrystal Pearson; father O. B. Lee (Evelyn) Shepard; brothers, Anthony Shepard, Brandon Lewis, Theron Nesbit, and Marshon Shepard; sisters, Tanisha Shepard, Nykila Shepard, Rickita Pressley, and Raven Shepard; grandmother Lessie Fonville; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2011 in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long Street, with family receiving friends from 1 p.m. until start of service. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
