Minister John David (Sr) Moore

MINISTER JOHN DAVID MOORE, SR,  age 71 was born June 15, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Norman E. Moore, Sr. and Elizabeth Gilbert Moore.  He departed this earthly life on Friday, January 17, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio at Mt Carmel East.  1967 graduate of Eastmoor High School.  He was a member of Faith Ministries Church and has held former membership with Corinthian Baptist Church and as Associate Minister of Jordan Bible Church.   John retired from DCSC with 24 years of service, also retired from America West Airlines after 10 years, and from SERS after 5 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Brenda E. Lear; uncle and aunt Pastor James L. (Vyruth) Gilbert, uncles, John Moore, Linwood Moore, George Moore and Irvin Moore; aunts Portia Miller, Margaret Gilbert and Christine Spencer.  He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Francine E. Moore; children Xandra Y. (Raymond) Wilson, John D. Moore, Jr., Shronne Moore Williams; grandchildren Anthony and Bailey Williams, Payton and John D. Moore, III, and Maryam Moore; brothers, Ronald E. (Joanne) Moore and Norman E. (Carolyn) Moore, Jr. sisters, Vyruth Moten and Christine A. Moore; also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special dear and close friends, his barber & brother, Norman Moore; brother-in-law, prayer and bible study partner Johnny Wade, and the Faith Ministries Church Family
