Mildred S. Burr

Mildred Susie Burr, born January 9, 1916 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on January 22, 2014 in Columbus, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Clay Burr; mother and father, Maude and Necola Caesar; sister, Elva N. Johnson; and brother, Necola Caesar Jr. She is survived by daughters, LaRosa Lumpkin, of Canton, GA; Marthal and Marial Burr; granddaughter, Nicky; great granddaughter, Adriane; many nieces and nephews; goddaughter, Gail Guadarrama, of Fairfield, CA; foster daughter, Demetria Meadows, of Union, NJ; and many friends. Mildred is an alumnus of Wilberforce University; a life member of the National Association of Social Workers; and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
