Michael Frank Willie

Micheal F Willie was born on May 28, 1958 in Copiaque, New York.  He was the son of the late Alice and Walter C. Willie Sr. Michael departed this life on Thursday,  April 2, 2020 at Laurel Nursing Home in Gahanna, Ohio.

Michael was a product of the New York Public School system. Michael relocated to Columbus, OH in 1992. Michael was a lover of all sports,however, Basketball would always be his number 1 sport.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Dr. Walter Willie, Sr. and Alice Willie.  Michael leaves to mourn: sons: Michael F. Willie Jr. (Collins) Julius Willie, step sons: Vacarro Bracey and Michael Slocum, daughters: Patricia Willie, Taniqua Bradley, Natasha Johnson-Hawthorne(Arlin) step daughters: Jamila Harris(Warren) Aletha Slocum, Cambria Slocum, Tammy Bracey 29 years, 29 Grandchildren.   Siblings: 4 brothers Bishop Walter C. Willie Jr (Theresa), Elder Joseph Bristel (Eleanor),  Deacon Alfred Bristel(Mae) and Deacon Edward Bristel(Nina) 4 sisters Mother Dorothea Gilliam, Mother Juanita Nelon, Sister Joyce Willie- Gamble and Sis Delores Booker.
