Michael Dewitt Choate

Michael Dewitt Choate was born Sept 19, 1959, to Dewitt Brown and Marie Choate. He was born and raised in Columbus, OH where he met his wife of 42 years Rebecca Prophet- Choate. Michael (Mike) was a hard worker and determined to succeed in life. He ran his own business for many years opening many opportunities for him. Mike had a very giving heart, and although he had his own personal struggles, he cared deeply and provided for his family. He had an incredibly soft spot for his oldest Great Grandson, Johonez Flowers and enjoyed spending a lot of time with him. Mike will be remembered in many different lights. He was a successful entrepreneur, a giver, a singer, and most importantly his heart for God. No matter how many struggles he endured he always made his way back to the Lord, and now he is free to fly.
