A woman of deep and abiding faith, Mary was a devoted member of St. Joseph’s Cathedral for more than 40 years. Over the course of her life, she was also affiliated with St. Dominic Catholic Church shortly after her marriage and Oakley Full Gospel Baptist Church from childhood into adulthood.
Mary found great joy in traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was known for her gentle spirit, wisdom, and kindness, always sharing her knowledge in a loving and encouraging way. She never forgot a birthday, often sending a card or making a call to remind loved ones how much they were cherished. Her Sunday dinners became a treasured weekly tradition, prepared with care and offered as an expression of her love.
Mary will be remembered for her selflessness and unwavering devotion as a sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
