Mary Elizabeth Jamison

Mary Elizabeth Jamison, age 85, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 at Kobacker HomeReach Hospice. A longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church where she served on the Senior Usher Board, Bible Class #3, Young Adult League, Catering Committee, and Hostess Committee. Retired from The Ohio State University after 40 years of service in the resident dining hall. Preceded in death by parents Dee-Allen Williams, Sr. and Helen Ellison, brothers Teddy and Dee-Allen Williams, Jr., and grandchildren Janice and Brandon Beidleman. Survived by sons Donald (Kathy) Williams and Robert Lee West, Jr.; daughters, Helen Harris, Diane West, and Robin (Rudolph) Rogers; stepson Richard Jamison; 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren; special friends Lila Smith and Inez Moncrief; special adopted daughter Gwen Lawson; and a host of other relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration 10 a.m., Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church, 461 St. Clair Ave., where the family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the start of service. Rev. Dr. Victor M. Davis, officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
