Marshawn Anthony Christian was born September 29, 1982 to Tina Marie Christian and Gordon Lee Stanley in Columbus, Ohio. Known to many by the nick name Mook, he attended Columbus City Schools and served in the United States Army. On Thursday, July 28, 2011, Marshawn departed this life at Grant Medical Center. He was predeceased by his father, grandfather Dewitt Christian, Sr., and uncle and Walter Dewitt Christian. He is survived by his wife Monikka Christian; daughters Makayla and Misha Christian; mother Tina Christian (Chester Jackson); sister Latisha Christian; brother Nathaniel Christian; nieces A-Quayala Green and A'Nashantilya Christian; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friend April Prince.
