Marcella Cecelia Dennis

Marcella Cecelia Dennis, age 76, was born December 4,1945.  She was born in Lakeland, Maryland and later moved to Columbus, Ohio.  She graduated from East High School.  She sadly departed life on Sunday, October 2, 2022.

Marcella retired from the State of Ohio and received many accolades throughout her career.  She was a Member of St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church and was in the choir and loved delivering communion to those who were unable to attend Mass.  She loved family, baking, crafts, helping others, singing, playing cards especially Bid Whist.  She took pride in decorating for the holidays.

Marcella was preceded in death by her father Ernest Brown, mother, Irene Washington, stepfather, Keller Washington, grandmother, Cecelia Lee, grandfather, Jack Adams, siblings, Lorraine Brown, Ramona Brown, Ernest Brown Jr., and Denise Brown, great grandchildren,  Ja’Ceon Taylor  Enzo Crawford, and ex-husband Arthur Dennis.

Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings Irene Brown, Marcia Kent, and Michael (Peaches) Brown, daughters,  Arica Dennis, Andrea Dennis, and Sherrell Dennis, grandchildren,Tiyawna Taylor, Troy Wade, Alesha Manns, Dawn Wade, Don Youngblood III, Loy-Tisha Head, Romale Davis, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
