Lonnie Mae 'Betty' (Humphrey) Patterson

Lonnie Mae (Humphrey) Patterson, 86, affectionately known as “Betty”, passed away unexpectedly December 5, 2013. Born March 16, 1927 in Columbus, OH, she attended Columbus Public Schools and graduated from East High School. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and was a long standing member of St. Philip Lutheran Church. She retired from Ohio Bell in 1982 after 34 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Cura Humphrey, 6 brothers, and 3 sisters. Survived by loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Stiles “Pat” Patterson; daughter Patricia Alice Overton; grandchildren, Tyler and Tiana Overton; brother Raymond (Arthur Mae) Humphrey; son-in-law Richard Overton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Betty will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
