We are bereft beyond words

You were so much to so many

Amongst your very many endeavors:

You were a co-founder of a dance company, though you were not a dancer

You had many positions at Case Western Reserve University, including Administrator to a renowned infectious disease researcher

During 'free time,' you were a champion in public health education

You were Chief of Staff to a State Senator who was "a pioneering legislative firebrand crusading for social justice and educational equity for more than five decades"

You succeeded in implementing bold, new, effective innovations at the Ohio Department of Education

You were mother to a son so very deeply loved by others, you taught him so well

You were a calm, problem-solving 'techno savant' at a diversified Fortune 100 company

Your qualities were modesty, loyalty, earnestness, honesty, thoughtfulness, effectiveness, just to name a few !

Always unassuming, you would blush and look away when complemented

We cannot be more thankful and grateful for your time with us upon this earth !
