Linda Greene

Linda L. Greene was born on July 3, 1946, to Clifford and Mary Morgan, in Columbus, Ohio. She was an employee at Columbus State Hospital (currently known as Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare), Blue Cross Insurance Company, and retired as an Insurance Investigator with the State of Ohio Department of Insurance.


Linda enjoyed worshipping at New Birth Christian Ministries where she was a member for over 20 years and served on the usher board and participated in activities with Seniors on the Move.

Blessed with seventy-nine years of life, Linda Greene was called from labor to eternal rest on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Clifford and Mary Morgan; husband of 42-years, John T. Greene II; son, John T. Greene III; brother, Micheal Morgan; sisters, Bonnie Savage, Phyllis Poteate, and Patricia Pettway.

Celebrating her legacy and cherishing her memory include her daughter, La-Tasha Greene; four grandchildren, John T. Greene IV, La-Toria Spry, India Greene, and Morgan Castleberry; five great-grandchildren, Karrington Spry, Kenneth (Trey) Spry, Kennedy Greene, Zora Greene, and Honey Birdsong; aunt, Elnora Upshaw; special nephew, Anthony Morgan; loving best friend, Sharon Brown; and many other family members and friends.

Friends will be received for Visitation at New Birth Christian ministries at 3475 Refugee Rd on 01/28/2026 from 11:00 am until 12 noon. Services will be held at New Birth Christian ministries at 12noon on 01/28/2026 until 1:00 pm followed immediately by interment at Glen Rest memorial estate.
