Linda Joyce Austin Elliott, age 75, of Columbus Ohio, passed away on April 14, 2026 in her home peacefully with her family by her side.

Born on May 17, 1950 in Ohio to William and Ida Bell Austin, Linda was known for the love and care that she had for her family and friends. She attended Marion Franklin High School and Franklin University and worked as an Admin Analyst at The Metropolitan Water Company of Southern California for over 20 years.

Linda is survived by her son Andre Cotton, her grandchildren Drzmon, DreLyn, Dreona, Audrey and Adrea Cotton and her great grandchildren Baylie and Bexlie Cotton. Brothers Junior Austin and Bramlet Brian Austin and sister Denise Austin. Along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Ida Austin, sister Sheila Austin and brother Ricky Austin.

A memorial service will be held on Friday May 1st with visitation beginning at 10:00AM and the service at 12:00 PM at Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service located at 1370 E Main St, Columbus OH 43205. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research.


Burial will process to Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
