Lillie Valeria Orr

Lillie Valeria Orr, age 78, departed this life Wednesday, June 18, 2014. She was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Leo and Darnell Pinkston, where she attended Ballard¬-Hudson High School. Lillie was a strong willed woman with a big heart, who loved her family, and in her youth she enjoyed dancing, singing old songs and cooking. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Thomas C. Orr, Sr.; son-in-law, Jeffrey Nappier, Sr.; sisters, Leola Miller and Fannie Russell; and a brother, Willie Pinkston. Surviving to celebrate her legacy is her son, Thomas C. Orr, Jr.; daughters, Barbara Ann Hale and Betty J. Nappier; sisters, Mary (Otha) Johnson, Clara Rogers, Darnell (Rev.) Franklin and Annabelle James; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
