Lillian D. Burks-Davis, 78, passed away October 4, 2017 at Arbors East. A lifelong Columbus resident, she retired from the healthcare industry after many dedicated years as a nursing assistant. Preceded in death by parents, Floyd and Mary Scott, sisters, Betty Davis, Theny Tucker, and Janie Thompson, brother James Wooden; grandparents, Leroy and Lillian Edwards, uncles, Leroy and Otto Edwards, aunts, Betty Thompson and Mary Stratton, mother-in-law Cherrie Lee Davis, and sister-in-law Joyce Davis. Survived by husband John A. Davis; sister, Misan Malone and JoAnn Ross; niece Shaunte Lucas; nephews, Michael Davis, II and Eric Evans; brother-in-law Michael Davis, Sr. (Cheryl); sister-in-law JoAnne Evans; and a host of other relatives and friends.
