Our Big Brother, Lewis was taken from us before his time on July 27, 2021. Lewis 76, was born on January 31, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio at The Ohio State University Hospital. Cuppie, as we called him, was said to look like a little buttercup when he was born. Over the years buttercup was shortened to just Cuppie. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He became very adept at both hunting and fishing with his crossbow. He was also a very good basketball player. Good enough that word of his playground exploits on the court reached the basketball coach at East High School. The coach at East invited Cuppie to come out for the team and much to our surprise Cup declined saying that he had no desire to play organized sports. That was our big brother always marching to his own beat. Cup was also a connoisseur of traditional Jazz and he was an impeccable dresser. He was always wearing some finest threads. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pam Johnson; his parents, Antonio and Gladys (Clark) Johnson; his siblings, Antonio III and Terry Johnson; nephew, Johnny Sullivan; sister-in-law, Velma Johnson; grand niece and nephews Erica Johnson, Terrell (TJ) and Isaiah Joseph. Cuppie leaves to cherish his great memories his only son, Bryan and grandson, Luka; his siblings, Richard (Azalea), Antonietta, Wayne (Kim), Phillip, Teresa, Karol, Dexter, Gary and Robin.
