Lawrence Melvin Tyler

Lawrence M. Tyler, 70, passed away March 20, 2012. An East High School graduate and U.S. Navy Veteran, Larry was a Friend of Bill W. and retired from Doctors North Hospital. Predeceased by special brother and sister John and Anna Louise Jones. Survived by son Lawrence Tony Tyler (Hawaii); daughters Kismet Kizzy Taylor (Texas) and Kesha Young; stepdaughter Kehan DeRego; dear friend and companion Anna Marie Ferriman; brother Dwight Tyler; sister Julia Lignon; grandchildren Hi'ilei, Milo, Kayla, and Marcus; dear cousin David Tyler; and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2012 in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long Street, with family receiving friends from 1 p.m. until the start of service.
