Kimberly C. Guest Cuevas

Kimberly C. Guest-Cuevas, 49, passed Monday, August 13, 2018, at Kobacker House in Dublin, OH. Kimberly was born to Lorenzo Thompson and Blanche Guest, June 21, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois. She was raised by her mother Blanche, and Stepfather Gregory D. Guest, in several cities, including Detroit, MI, Charlotte, NC, Akron, OH and finally Columbus, OH where she would go on to start her own family. Kimberly graduated from Westerville North High School in 1987 and attended The Ohio State University. She married Jacob Cuevas on June 14, 1993, and they resided in Toledo and Gahanna, Ohio. Not only was she an accomplished flute player, but was also a model. She was a true fashionista, loved sunglasses and ball caps. Her beautiful smile would light up a room. A nurturer at heart, she was always taking care of other people; her daughter, mother, sisters, grandmother, nieces and even neighbor children. You never left Aunt Kim without a new toy in hand. Every Christmas she made sure the kids had matching pajamas. Kim worked at American Girl Dolls of Easton for almost two years and was an outstanding worker. She’s proceeded in death by grandfather Odell Sias, and brother Gregory D. Guest Jr. Kimberly leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Jacob Cuevas; a daughter, Kaitlyn Cuevas; mother, Blanche Guest; father, Lorenzo Thompson of Chicago, IL; step-father, Gregory D. Guest of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; grandmother, Mable Sias of Columbus, OH; sisters, Gail Guest of Columbus, OH, Hollie Torba of Denver, Co, Kristen Carter (Neal) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Morgan & Ryan Guest of Appleton, WI. Ayonna Armstrong (Torey, Sr.) of Schererville, IN, Raven Thompson of Shakopee, MN, Nakia Thompson (Karseeme) of Brooklyn Park, MN and brothers: Lorenzo White (Muzzette) of Chicago, IL, and Damon Thompson (Teresa) of Brooklyn Park, MN. Ex-brother-in-law, Bob Torba of Denver, CO; Father-in-law Jake Cuevas ( Maureen), sister-in-law Amy Jo Cuevas-Daniels of Toledo, OH, six nieces, two nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Also, special friends: Sonya Turner, Mary (Ellie) Thomas, and Jim O’Brien.
