Karen Marie Bridges

Karen M. Bridges, 72 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 surrounded by her family. Born on January 13, 1943 in Marion, Ohio. Graduated from Kenton Senior High in 1961. She began her training in radiology in 1962 at OSU Medical Center and worked until retiring in 1990. Preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Marie (Jackson) Meadows; sister Sharon Mack. Survived by children, Jodi, Yusef and Kara Bridges; grandchildren, Yusef, Meisha and Zion Bridges; step children, Phillip and Tyrone Bridges, Calvin Ladd and Christopher Cooper; sisters-in-law, Betty Payne and Elizabeth Jones; brother-in-law, Charles Bridges; niece, Shona Curry and aunt, Romoa Brown. Her legacy will be cherished by many other loving family and friends who include Martha and Jeanette Woodley, Maria Chandler, Sylvia Cousins, Dee Goodwin, Carolyn Furlong and Gloria Davis.
