Jung Sook (Lee) McCullough was born October 30, 1933 to Choon Sik Lee and Jyun Ok Ryon in Yongdungpo-Ku Seoul, Korea. She departed this life February 9, 2017. As a young child she was separated from her parents during WWII and lived with relatives until she moved to Japan and enrolled in nursing school. Due to the Korean War, she was not able to complete her schooling and returned to Seoul where she met and married Julius C. McCullough who was in the United States Military. Through this union her husband adopted her son (Lee). As a military wife, Jung traveled with her husband to several places before ending up in Ft. Knox, Kentucky were she gave birth to her daughter Katie. Her husband received orders to be shipped to Germany. Which, lead to the family moving to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Ok. where she remained until her health started to deteriorate. She moved to Columbus, Ohio in October 2013 to be close to her daughter and family. Jung was a hard working woman who was always providing for her family. She worked for various companies, including becoming a proprietor of her own flea market for many years. She worked for the Federal Aviation Administration, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma before retiring. She loved being a respected Korean senior in Oklahoma. She received many certificates and awards from the Korean Association, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, honoring her for contribution she made to the Korean community. Jung is preceded in death by Julius C. McCullough (husband), an Aunt in Seoul, Korea. She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Young Lee and Levester McCullough, daughter, Katie McCullough (John) Logan. Grandchildren: Shalise M. Logan, Chanie IL (Marcus) Scott. Great grand Children: Daveonn A. Logan, Wayden Lee Logan, Aurelius Scott, Nehemiah Scott, Julius Scott, and Solomon Scott, relatives in Korea and Japan, and a host of friends and church family.
