Joyce Ann Lane-Douglas

Joyce Lane-Douglas was born Joyce Ann Johnson on May 4, 195,1 and went home to the Lord on July 14, 2021. Joyce attended Central High School and retired from Abbott Labs. Joyce was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Mervyn J. Douglas; parents, Eugene C. and Clara Mae (Lee) Johnson and William Zimmerman Jr.; sisters, Barbara Swanson and Brenda Mae Johnson. Joyce is survived by her daughters, Tisha Tyler (MD) and Tanya (Denis) Simiyu; son, Roderick (Donica) Cheatham; grandchildren, Mercedes Fields (AZ), Tauan Jeffrey, Stephen Jeffrey Jr, Nishon (Christian) Schick (VA), Jelanah Cheatham, Tachelle (Marlon) Jeffrey, Jason Tyler (MD), Jelani Cheatham and Iyanah Cheatham; great-grandchildren, Carter, Laurynn, Marlaya, Myliyah, Marlon Jr, and Makari; her sisters, Gloria (Eugene) Ward (IN), Diann Johnson; mother, Juanita Zimmerman; nieces, nephews, and cousins, other family and friends.
