Joyce Ann Davis

Joyce Ann Davis was born on November 4, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from South High School and attended Columbus State Community College. Joyce worked for the United States Postal Service for nearly 26 years. She received Christ in her life and was a member of New Birth Christian Ministries. Joyce was an adventuresome soul and loved by all. She loved beaches, line dancing, singing, traveling, and playing cards (especially bid whist). She cherished the time spent with her nieces, nephews, and their kids - which she nurtured as her own. Joyce came in this world fighting and left this world fighting. On October 13, 2014, at the age of 53, Joyce went home to be with the Lord while at The Ohio State University Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pastor Cherrie Lee Zellner Davis and Johnny B. Davis. She leaves to cherish her memories, siblings, John (Lillian Burke) Davis, Joanne (Ernest) Evans, Michael (Cheryl) Davis, Terrance Davis, and Joseph Gaines; uncles, Robert (Vicki) Zellner, Jr. and Willie (Barbara) Davis; aunts, Lillie (Ben) Issac, Rosa and Annie Davis; special friends, Craig Allen and Constance Adams; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and -nephews, cousins, and friends.
