Jonathan Lee Ford, “Big Jon”, age 19, went home to the Lord Thursday, October 21, 2010. He was born March 9, 1991 in Columbus, OH, and was a 2009 graduate of West High School, where he was vice-president of the senior class, and captain of the football team. He was also a member of De-Ja-Vu Youth-4-Youth, and was always known as the life of the party. He was predeceased by his great-grandmother, Betty Lee Bell; grandparents, Archie and Margaret Armstead, Sr.; great uncle, James E. Scott; great aunt, Collinda M. Scott; brother, Andre “Bunny” Sowell; and nephew, Christopher M. Ford, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Sandra M. (Kenneth Poe) Ford; father, Garing (Jacqueline) Armstead; son, Jhourne D. Smith; fiancée, Cassandra Wolfe; brothers, Christopher M. Ford, Seantel M. Ford, and Garing Armstead, Jr.; sisters, Natasha N. Ford, Joselyn, Leaya and Selah Armstead; grandmothers, Velma (Vern) Calloway, Beverly A. Wilson; aunts, Sherri and Paula Ford, Mildred Johnson and Judy Hall; uncles, Stephen M. Ford, of California; Keith Foster, Victor Armstead, Sr. of Columbus; Archie Armstead, Jr., of Chillicothe, OH and many other relatives and friends.
