Johnny “John” Mack Foreman was born June 28, 1957 to Isiah Foreman and Ruth Jones Foreman in Wilson, North Carolina. John graduated from Westhill High School, in Stamford, Connecticut, where he was a member of the track team. In 1979, he graduated from The University of Connecticut with a degree in mathematics and economics. His record performances as a member of The University of Connecticut track team remain unbeaten. John began his professional career in Information Technology at Northeast Utilities (now Eversource Energy) in Hartford, Connecticut. In 1995, he joined IBM in Hartford, where he became a senior project manager within the IBM Global Business Services Unit. He transferred to the company's Columbus office in 1998. After 22 years with IBM, he became an independent consultant and project manager until 2014 when he was hired as a project manager in the Project Development Group at the Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow (ECOT). On Monday, January 30, 2017, at the age of 59, John passed away peacefully while at home in his Columbus residence. John was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Ella Grey Britt, and his brother Jimmie Ray Foreman. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Debra Gwinn Foreman, whom he married on November 4, 2016, and especially by his sons, Eric Alexander Foreman and Elijah James Foreman, and foster daughters, Regina and Sadie. He also will be greatly missed by his brothers, Elmer Earl Foreman of Winchester, Virginia, Robert Lee Foreman of Stamford, Connecticut, and Ivery Darnell (Debra) Foreman of Dublin, Ohio; sisters, Annie Doris (Thomas) Newton of Stamford, Connecticut, Brenda Faye (Edward) Stewart of Paterson, New Jersey, Linda Ruth Foreman of Hamden, Connecticut, and Francine (Patrick) Pierce of Bridgeport, Connecticut; along with numerous aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends across the country.
