John Taliaferro 'Fancy' Fears

John T. Fears, “Fancy”, age 56, passed away September 1, 2010. Formerly of Anniston, AL, he attended Marion-Franklin High School and Hill Top Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by father Booker T. Fears, Jr. and brother Arthur Fears. Survived by mother Etta M. Fears-Sams; brother Gregory Fears, sisters Viola Fears-Sams and Valerie Fears; nieces Tasha Rudolph and Christaya Fears; nephews Gregory Fears Jr. and Rickie Cook; several great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life 2 p.m., Friday, September 10, 2010 in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long Street, with family receiving friends from 1 p.m. until start of service.
