John Avery Caldwell

John Avery Caldwell was the first born to John and Ruby Massey Caldwell. He was born in Waxhaw (NC) and moved to Columbus (OH) as a child. He attended Monroe Jr. High and East High school. He loved boxing, travelling, and people. Married he fathered (3)children and (1)grandchildren. He enjoyed work and labor ranging from; sales, auto repair, commercial driving, painting, and care giving. He cared for his mother, as well as his entire community. He will always be remembered and greatly missed by friends Shannon, Bennie, Tony, Heather, and Shelly.

He was preceded In death by parents John H. and Ruby Massey Caldwell; wife Patricia, and sister Taeisha (Carolyn).

Avery leaves to cherish his memory two daughters. Niecy Davis and Merrill Tussing; his son Quan Small and grandson James Small; sisters Anita, Shirley, Foster, Barbara, Carol, Rita, And Mary; brothers Joseph, Micheal, and Charles. As well as all of Columbus (OH) Richard Gammons, Chucky Littleton;  He leaves uncle Joe and aunt Shirley, and Hattie Harville and all of Charlotte (NC);  He leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nephews and nieces whom who loved dearly. As well as countless friends for he was loved by all.
