Jawann Brown

JAWANN D’EANTE BROWN was born in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday, April 17, 1985. He was the son of Vivian Brown and William Anderson. Jawann was a loving, caring, and selfless person. Growing up, he enjoyed going to the center to play basketball with his little sister and friends. Being a big brother was something he took pride in. Jawann attended Brookhaven High School. He later was employed, for several years, by The Superior Die Tool & Machine Company. He was an extremely hard and dedicated worker.

In more recent years, Jawann enjoyed being a dad, uncle, and a grandfather. When he wasn’t working, he was spending time with loved ones. Whenever Jawann came in the building, you knew it was going to be a good time with a lot of laughs.

Jawann D. Brown departed this life on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, to be with the Lord. He was thirty-seven years of age. Jawann was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben and Allie Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Vivian Brown; father, William Anderson; daughter, Ka’mya Barrett; granddaughter, La’myah Barrett; sisters, Jamara Brown, Eboni Patterson, and Tiffiny Patterson; brothers, William Anderson Jr., Donta Patterson, and Taiwann Anderson; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and dear friends.
